Gentlemen,
Can you point me out in the right direction regarding manuals on ground de-icing procedures on a DC-9/30 aircraft?
Is there anything specific for DC-9/30 regarding ground de-icing conditions?

You should be able to find what you need in the AMM section 12-30-01 and in FAA Advisory Circular 120-60

ONly the fact that the DC9 is subject to Ground De-icing in ambient(above freezing)temperatures due to moisture contact with the supercooled fuel tanks.This creates a 'clear'sheet of ice over the wing,subject to engine ingestion at liftoff....

Only the -80 was involved in the clear ice problem. The DC9 did not have this problem.
The original clear ice problem (ice off wings and caging an engine) was on the DC10 series 30 and above. Finair has a picture of one of their mechanics standing on a DC9 wing holding up a rather large sheet of wing ice discovered in ZRH
