Mystery part from crashed Loftleidir DC-8

Could anyone identify the following part, salvaged from the wreckage of the Loftleidir (Icelandic Airlines) DC-8-63CF, TF-FLA (MSN 46020), which crashed at Colombo-Katunayake, Sri Lanka, on November 15, 1978?

The part is reportedly "circular-shaped", and has the following inscription:

FAA-PMA 80201 C7A 67C 000077 64-9541

Is there any way you can post a photo? We're still flying them and I'm pretty sure I can get it identified for you.

Thanks, quid. I shall attempt to get hold of a pic, as you suggest.
Stay tuned.

Attention 'quid':

I now have two images of the part in question, but am unable to post attachments. Any suggestion as to how I could get the pics across to you for identification?

The part resembles a bearing race, comprising concentric rings with hole in center, and is approx 8cm (3.15 inches) in external diameter.

Why not e-mail the details to the FAA and ask them? They issue the PMA aprovals after all.
