Why slats extended on ground A300-600?

I`ve noticed that A300-600s and A310s, for turnaronds always leave slats extended, not flaps, only slats! Anyone knows why?

It's just to avoid another cycle of the slats. Most T/O are done just with slts ext on this ship.

It's a "leftover" from the good ol B2/B4 day's. The original Bus did not have wingtip brakes that could be released, the slatmotor just drove against them, so to reduce wear and tear(and ALOT of heat buildup) they where not retracted all the way after landing.
