Landing Gear N.N.C / 737
I have a question regarding the Gear lever will not move up after takeoff N.N.C., speaking of 737 "classics".
What is the reason to (the effects of) item:
LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY AND LIGHTS C/B (P6) . . . . . . PULL?
I felt like it is there to disable the logic and enable gear retraction (see the sequence in deferred landing items) but the C/L does not call for that. Ok, what are the other benefits then?
Any of you have the knowledge or acces to the "old" commented checklist, pretty please?
Thanks,
FD.

My C/L says:
Condition: the gear lever cannot be placed in the UP position due to one or more of the following:
failure of the landing gear lever lock solenoid
failure of the air/ground system
LANDING GEAR LEVER ...............DOWN
If the T/O config warning remans silent after the flaps are fully retracted and the thrust levers are beyond the vertical position:
Note: this condition indicates a failure of the landing gear lever lock solenoid.
LANDING GEAR OVERRIDE TRIGGER........PULL
LANDING GEAR LEVER.......UP & OFF
If the takeoff config warning remains silent after the flaps are fully retracted and the thrust levers are beyond the vertical position:
NOTE: this condition indicates a failure of the the Air/Ground system
LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY AND LIGHTS C/B............PULL
Plan to land at nearest suitable airport.
The deferred items for Descent/Approach and Landing only apply in the second case.
In the case you ask about the gear lever will stay in the down position. Pulling the C/B is presumably done to disable a system that is not working properly anyway. It is temporarily reset during the landing checks to observe the three greens, and pulled again straight afterwards.
