Turn-around info requested for 747 ...

... on things like the amount of catering, waste servicing, etc.
I'm writing a short article titled "From touchdown to takeoff" and it's about what happens on the ground. Stuff like how much food goes on, etc.

Anyone know?

Can you give any details for a route or length of flight as the catering obviously is dependant on how many "services" are required. ie breakfast, lunch and light refreshment etc.

Just a typical flight, say, 40 - 450 pax, eight to ten hours.
That sort of thing.

Cool

Depends what's been written in the tech log, and what check it is on, tr, dy, wky?

Eng oil, 2 qts per eng average, depends on type and previous sector.

Toilets, 40lts of fluid per pair uplifted, waste dumped.
Water, depends how much has been used, could be 50lts up to max.

meals would depend on length of flt, whether 2 meals needed or just one, x pax + crew meals.

That's more what I'm after.
Any rough idea of the weight fo the meals ... ? It'd have to be a couple of tonnes at least?
