Question A320 Fueling

At one of our destinations the handlers use the manual method for fueling the aircraft, they select the switches up for all three tanks simultaniously, this method generates the AUTO-FEED FAULT ecam.

Is there any structual limitation against this method?

Why not dial up an extra 100kg (assuming you are using KGs) like everyone else?

Works everytime, and if you do find an a/c that is accurate and gives you that extra 0.1 of a tonne then almost all the pilots I have met are extremely grateful.

The old addage,"one only has too much fuel when one is on fire" springs to mind.
