Landing Lights

Hi all,
Normally during the day below 10,000 ft we use inboard landing lights, just before landing we switch on all landing lights exept rwy turnoff and taxi.
but at night instead of inboard landing lights we should rather use rwy turnoff.as using ILLights impares visibility specially in IMC. just before landing we switch on all other landing lights.
Any answers on this subject ? any boeing recommandations? (I m flyin B737)

During the day, landing/taxy lights are used as an anti-birdstrike measure for both approach, take-off and also on low flying training. In cloud they are not needed (birds don't do IMC) and at night in cloud they can be extremely dazzling and distracting. Doesn't matter what type you fly. It's good airmanship...
