Question "autothrottle on A320 ? "

hey,

I heard from a colleague that a certain company, which operates the A320, choose for a kind of autothrottle system on their A320's .
Does someone know which company this is, and how it works?
I must admit it seems strange, since you won't probably have a fixed climb-, flex/mct- detent anymore, and it isn't really Airbus-philosophy.
I know I'd like it, since I had a nasty experience with the autothrust system on one of my first flights with the 320,

thx, cheerio !

Just out of curiosity -- May I ask what bad experience that was? Just curious as I've just converted to the 320 and the a/thrust system i thought i'd hate actually has my liking now.
