Post "AVAIL" message after start - A340

Need some help - my FCOM is not the right sequence number. I think it's only on the 5C4 option on the 340 but could someone help me with what the AVAIL message on the upper ECAM is indicative of - what parameters trigger the message? Thanks.

Nope, sorry I wasn't specific enough - there's a green AVAIL that pops up in the N1 dial on the upper ECAM after the start cycle is complete - that's the one I'm referring to - I pretty much understand that it refers to the engine being "available" but was looking for the specific FCOM reference and possible reason for the change from previous versions.

AVAIL indication
Displayed in green to indicate successful engine start on ground. Pulsing in green to indicate successful start in flight. It is triggered when the engine is at or above idle.

Any help???

Thumbs up

Thanks - first prize would be a quote from the FCOM - it's going to take a bit of time to get the right pages out of the Airbus system. Appreciate your help, thanks again.

AhhhVC813, like the pilot can't tell the difference? Why is there a distinction between the 2 "AVAIL" types, and why does the pilot need to bother with that distinction?
