While i was visiting America, a few years ago, i baught a science magasine, due to the large picture of a futuristic aeroplane adorning its covers. Upon reading the related article, it turns out that this was a "joint effort between Boeing and McDonnel Douglas", was "to be the longest aircraft ever built, and cruise at a speedy Mach 3" and was to be called "the orient express", due to the fact it would cruise between Los Angeles and Tokyo in 4hrs. Now here is my question. Does anyone remeber this article, or have any more information on this aeroplane? it was a few years back, but there may still be hope....
