FLEX45 SRS Runway?
I have heard this call after power application during takeoff on Airbus A320/330 types.
I assume these are FMA callouts, and FLEX45 (or TOGA) is the power setting, but can any Bus driver enlighten me on what "SRS" and "Runway" mean? Thanks.

Greetings Loc green,
you were right on spot concerning the "flex" meaning.
SRS means speed reference system which is responsible for maintaining min. V2+10 (2-eng) or current speed or V2 (whichever is higher) OEI. Included is also an attitude protection, windshear protection and flight path angle protection. It disengages automatically at acc.alt or at FCU-selected altitude or manually.
RWY guides the aircraft on rwy centerline for the t/o-roll and initial climb to 30ft if a LOC signal is available on the runway.
Hope this helps,

A few additional things :
MAN FLEX45 indicates that:
- the A/THR is armed (but not engaged)
- the most fwd thrust lever is in FLX/MCT
- & a FLEX T° of 45 has been entered on the PERF>TO page
SRS :
- regulates the spd in order to maintain a MIN ROC of 120fpm
- is only available when FDs are ON & flaps are 1 or greater
RWY is accompanied by the Gnd Roll Guidance Command Bar: if the bar is centered, the a/c is on crs to intercept & fly the LOC to 30', but it won't NECESSARILY B the extended rwy centerline.
The LOC must B received to engage, but if it is lost anyafter, the a/c will fly a memorized trk.
