The charter airlines fly them into Skiathos in the Aegean in the summer. Not sure of the exact distances but they can't afford to refuel for the extra weight so stop in Thessaloniki on the return leg. not quite as exciting as seeing the old tristar skimming the water on rotation when they were about!

EGMC Southend - 5265 ft 1605m
I remember an old Flight International article about someone taking a 707 in there - noteworthy at the time. Since then, it has been used by a few large aircraft for maintenance. Try http://www.airliners.net/open.file?i...%3D&static=yes for a picture of one leaving.
Mind you, Southend and derring-do seem to go hand in hand. Read more about an ex-EGMC aircraft http://www.tailstrike.com/310392.htm and feel glad that you're sitting on the ground while reading it.

Santos Dumont is worth mentioning.

Click then over the runway pic to have a better idea.
One thousand two hundred and some meters long from what I remember.

This is quite a late reply, but I think it's worth it any way.
TAP and SATA fly A320s to Horta (LPHR) witch has a 1647 meters long runway.
TAP also fly A319s to Pico Island (LPPI) with a 1745 meters long runway
Although not a record they are pretty short and the aircraft are payload restricted coming out of both!

I have seen a large variety of jet aircraft operating in and out of Jersey, EGJJ: 1615m/5298ft.
There are occasional 757s and a few times in the past, I believe, a TriStar. I'm pretty sure A32xs go in there every now-and-then too.
I used to fly the 737-200/400 there and although it looked a bit shorter than LHR or FRA it actually wasn't a problem if you did a normal landing, touching down at the correct point. You generally could come off on an intermediate taxiway after landing with MED autobrake (2 or 3).
The biggest problem was the regular poor visibility and cloudbase and the 30kt crosswinds which accompanied them. For those that don't know the airfield it's on the top of a cliff on an island in the English Channel, so gets full value out of any approaching warm front...

Of course good old Bristol isn't too long (1876LDA on 27). When the weather's rubbish (often) and you're forced to land on 27 (for the Cat3 capability) with a tailwind in the wet!
We don't use laptops for performance so have had some low QNH specific charts drawn up for the frequent struggle to get enough fuel on for the Larnaca!
Continental are starting a daily New York on the 767, must be half empty!

It's pretty funny for one and scaring for the other, can include lot's of go arounds (no ILS), a temporary diversion to Terceira and a final diversion back to Lisbon. All on an A320. ;-)

I think the one in Dibrugarh in the North Eastern section of India to which Ive flown the A320 to is by far the shortest here however there are shorter ones further in the North part of India .... that's about 6000' approx .
