Does the Boeing 777 have Alpha floor protection?

Don't know about the 737NG, but the 777 is the only a/c that has true alpha floor protection.

Even the 737 classic has Alpha floor protection, as long as you keep the autothrottle engaged (that's why we should deselect the speed mode when we wish to fly manually instead of disconnecting AT).

What do you mean with " the 777 is the only a/c that has true alpha floor protection."?

Is it like the Airbus? is it protected even with AT disengaged?
