Cool higher flight level

[I]which aircraft can fly higher and why? B737(600-700-800-900) OR A320 .

Doubt it's the A320...
Easyjet regularly heard at FL380, sometimes even FL400..

A320 Max FL is 390.

Yep, 390 on the A320. Quite happy two thousand feet lower in my nice comfortable, roomy office with my meal on a tray instead of my lap.
