Question fugoidal effect in ELAC standard L80!!!???

IB A320 experienced accident on Feb,7.2001
during ldg. at Bilbao apt.Recent reports suggests that Airbus introduced some "fugoid"
effect in ELAC standard L80.This brings a/c
to AOA protection earlier???.No documentation in FCOM, even AMM, NOTHING!!!!!!!
Anybody know something????????????????????

There was an article in Aviation Week approx 2-3 weeks ago. The aircraft was executing an approach with gusty winds and mod+ turb, they sustained g loads of 1.5up and down. Apparently the high aoa protection was activated, they went to toga shortly before touchdown for the go-around and touched down at 1200fpm. Airbus has come out with a procedure when wind gusts in excess of 10kts or mod turb or greater are expected. You fly the approach with flaps 3, config 3, plus 10kts on to the new VLS.

AI introduced in ELAC std. L80 softwere features so called " fugoidal effect".As far as I know it enables Flt.Controls to enter in AOA prot. mode earlier???
Pilots in Bilbao applied throtles to G.A.,side sticks full back, and elevators remained in " neutral" position!!!!!!
Nothing in tha any manual found about that even info??
" DOES IT MEAN THAT IN G.A. SAY AT 100 FEET PILOT NEED TO PUSH STICK 8 DEEGRES FORWARD, THAN BACK TO INITIAL G.A. PITCH 15 DEEGRES???"

Nice manouver at DH indeed!!!!!!!
