Achilles---
While you're looking, look for information on the Aero Commander, another Ted Smith aircraft. This was the first light aircraft that was used to carry the US president (Eisenhower). The TurboCommander can be purchased today, completely remanufactured, with -10 engines for about $1.8 million. A super aircraft, and fast. If I could afford one, it would be in my hangar in a flash.

There is a company in the US that remanufactures Aerostar 601P's into 700P specs.

Check out www.aerostaraircraft.com
