Does anyone know where i might find out some information on the de-icing equipment on the A320?

Cheers,

AIRBUS uses hot - precooler bleed air & plumbs it to the leading edge & engine nacelles wherein it is sprayed against the relevant surface using piccolo tube diffusers-spray bars. The air is connected to the extending leading edges using a "trombone duct" - IE telescoping duct - just like Boeings 757, 767 & 777 ( who did it exactly the same way - first ..) Ice detection is something else - also extrenal de-icing is yet another thing..

The Airbus is unique. The first leading edge device outboard of the engine is not de-iced.
