Fuel in the London TMA
Just doing some research on fuel reserves in the London TMA. I recall a whill back an AIC stating that carriers should allow for up to 30mins holding before expecting an approach. This sounds like an extra thirty mins before reaching the bingo fuel point and diverting using reserves.
Can anyone confim this? and does anyone one know the AIC number?

I think the AIC you want is 36/1998, Pink 170 which refers to fuel reserves of 20 minutes. You can get a copy here (requires Adobe Acrobat Reader available to download at the site)
http://www.ais.org.uk/Uk_aip/pdf/aic/4P170.pdf
Or you can check the other AICs here
