An148 tested in very cold conditions
Down to-51 deg C!
http://www.antonov.com/news/index.xm...s_20060201.xml I think it's a very nice aircraft! |
It's a very nice twin engined BAe 146! They've got a very nice BAe ATP as well, but they can keep that. I think they have a very nice B757 too. And a very nice Lockheed Galaxy, and a very nice B727........ (sound of cosh hitting head)

Is Antonov the only company in the world still producing biplanes (AN3T)?!
|
There are still a reasonable number of light aircraft manufacturers that make bi-planes. E.g. Aviat Aircraft still make the Pitts Special aerobatics bi-plane.
While I know that there have been quite a few different variants, are there any other planes that have been in production longer than the Pitts Special (61 years)? I know the Piper Cub might count if the Super Cub is considered a variant, rather than a new design? |
