ex-QANTAS B747-300 at Larnaca
There's an ex-QANTAS B747-300 at Larnaca-LCA.
Does anyone have a Reg and know what it's doing there? Thanks |
If you have not got a reg how do you know its ex Qantas, just curios
|
Because it is in QANTAS livery with Titles and Logo's blanked out.
|
You only have a choice of 6, VH-EBT through to VH-EBY. EBU was painted in an aboriginal colour scheme, so probably only a choice of 5.
|
Cannot be EBU as it has been parked for many years at Avalon Airport in Victoria and used as a "Christmas Tree'.
|
Further to previous post, EBTand EBU have been scrapped, EBX stored awaiting scrapping.
EBV [N175SG ??], EBW [N176SG ??] and EBY [N177SG ??] are with Al SAYEGH Airlines of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Google states that they will be based in Sharjah. |
Was just quoting the reg's of the top of my head. I worked extensively on all off them between '00 and '04. If 2 have been scrapped and 1 is awaiting the chop,as you say, then the avionics and cabin upgrade they received was a bit of a waste of time.

Is this what you are after? Thanks to Mike Wards gallery. Fourth from last thumb nail.
