No - Im just guessing. A suggestion, have a few months off get your head together and try again in the future. |
I have not made a berk of myself. Sorry. I can post whatever I like in this section If in line with the Forum T&C, in which case IT is.
I asked a simple question, not being funny or anything but if thats the case you do not like the way Im posting. Click the report button, a mod will not delete my post or topic becuase of grammar and spelling mistakes. I have my answer now, the plane made an emergency landing. Good day. |
<<the aircraft was making an emergency, how often do you get to see that>>
Hopefully not too often - even more hopefully, never at all. Someone who gets a kick out of seeing an aircraft emergency is a very sick individual in my humble opinion. |
For the question about strobes, a pilot ALWAYS does a walkaround before flight. At main base, the company engineers will usually check the oil and hydraulic oil and walkaround and check strobes and nav lights AS WELL.
HA, you didn't give much detail (like time) in your original post. It's very much up to personal request and negotiation to do something out of the ordinary. At a very quiet time, ATC are not averse to allowing an aeroplane to come in on a different runway. It helps to be a local operator, but it's called co-operation and works pretty well. Perhaps the reason it all got savage: this is a professional pilots forum. It amazes me the people who come here almost daily complaining about something out of the ordinary and implying that the crew did something wrong with their safety. Noisy undercarriage, 'fast' approach, stobes on/flaps down at the terminal? - 'haha- the pilots forgot them!', applying brakes, releasing brakes- 'what were they trying to do with me?'. The natural reaction is to give them a roasting! |
I have not made a berk of myself You are 16, you've come onto a Professional Pilots website and quoted a fact about aircraft emergencies which you openly admit to guessing at. That does not give you any credibility, thus making you look a complete berk. Stick to your scanner and come back when you get some life experience. Good day to you too. |
Loooooooooool! :ok:
