On Mark Marksman
Yup, a nice aeroplane, I flew one for awhile as a co-pilot.
The ring spar made all the difference.
As you can see, philbky, I've been around quite a while as well.:}

If anyone finds it interesting there was another Saudi MD-11 at Heathrow yesterday, Saturday 4th April, 2009. The aeroplane is question was painted up in Saudia Arabian colours and she landed on runway 27R around 1 pm as She Who Must Be Obeyed and I were taxiing out on the EI713 to Cork. I think the registration of the MD-11 was HZ-HM7 and she seemed to be parking up at a normal stand rather than anywhere near where the UAE BBJ was parked. Was she doing a normal SV flight. Can anyone confirm the identity of the QF A380which was also taxiing around the same time at 1 pm. Highlight of the day though yesterday at Heathrow must have been YU-ANP, the Aviogenex 737-200. What a nice surprise that was to see!

HZ-HM7 is one of the Saudi Royal Flight. The Flight has a long history of using the Airlines colours
