Surprised no-one has mentioned the Sunderland (or the Empire boats). It would definitely be one of my choices.

Others would be the English Electric Lightning, Mosquito, Spitfire and Lancaster.

(how old does that make me?)

You are Preshistoric Lord Lucan:E:E:E

I either had plans to, or had a chance to, fly in a Connie, Ambassador, Twin Pioneer and DH Dragon - but never did. So if I could turn the clock back, I'd remedy that. For the fifth - a Catalina (off/on the water of course).

Vickers VC-10, The satisfaction of setting half the car alarms off in long stay carparks at the airports would be great when taking off :P haha

Boeing 757-200, My fav, Love narrow Bodied Airliners, Also the RB211-535E4B's make them hotrods, And they look great in just about any livery and the cockpit avionics are nice.

Airbus A321, Flymonarch Preferably, with the CRT Glass cockpits, and hearing those 2 IAE V2500's spool up from inside the flight deck.

Boeing 737-300/500, BMI Baby, Love those lil critters.

Flybe Embraer 145's, Love the ERJ145 flightdeck, and that lovely HYD noise when the engines are running at idle, Also AE3007 Spools are lovely from inside :D

Mike.

Hard to pick my favourites, but ...

1. 747 Classic
2. Convair 880/990 (yeah, like that's going to happen!)
3. A380
4. A340-500 ... always seems the most photogenic of all aircrat.
5. 757 ... goes like a "bat out of hell" ...

aztec2008 7th Dec 2008 06:15

5 I'd most like to fly

Porter
Edge 540
Tristar
Mustang
Embraer 190

I think 4 out of 5 of those are ones I would have realistic chances of trying out.

Semu 13th Dec 2008 03:29

XB-70, talked to a gentlemen who flew chase on one once, and he was still drooling, thirty years later.

AN-225, just to park next to those cheeky little A380s. OK, and because of the little globe back at the nav station.

A-4 because a test pilot that flew every jet known to mankind said that would be his first choice.

Any four engine seaplane, maybe a Sunderland

PC-6

In reality,

1. B747-200
2. PA 12 with an 0-360 bolted on
3. CV-240
4. Helio Courier
5. Citabria
