Warbirds at BHX 06 May 03

On a turnaround at Brum today, about 4:30pm when 3 Second World War types started blatting round BHX. Run and Breaks and pair formations - all very entertaining. If you're reading - Top Show fellas !! Lightened up my afternoon.

Anyone know what types they actually were or what they were practicing for, out of interest??

Yes, Polly Vacher was setting out on her round the World Polar circumnavigation.

Hey, you missed one - the Battle of Britain Hurricane and Spitfire flew by with her Piper Dakota - G-FRGN and then the BoB two seat Spit departed and a beautiful P-51, G-MSTG was also here.

Brightened up my day too!
