Car rental scam at LHR?
Last year made a rare return to Blighty... into LHR, used my credit card at pecisely one place, the Alamo car rental. Stayed in wallet rest of trip.
Returned car, couple of weeks later my bank calls... someone had been running around London charging theatre tickets and meals to my card. Only rumbled when they tried to get cash at a bank, they had my address etc etc.
Figure it *must* have been an inside job... or much carelessness when disposing of paperwork. LHR Plod said they had heard of such... anyone else encountered this issue?
