Low cost , going to far ?

Our airline in their infinite wisdom, have decided that to "save money" and in keeping with the new" Low Cost Model" ; have decided to replace the fresh milk with the small UHT prepacked
rubbish.
Excuse me, but I was always under the impression that UHT milk was used because the fresh milk would go off due lack of refridgeration and high temps in warmer countries.
Surely not in the UK ?

Then there is the issue of mother, babies and infants. Surely you can't expect UHT milk to be given to them ?

It tastes disgusting in Tea/Coffee and actually makes me ill, (flight safty issue there perhaps) .
Its a sad day when you have to bring your own fresh milk with you to work !

I'm now just waiting to be stopped by Airport Security for having a small bottle with a suspicious substance in it.............

I haven't noticed a massive difference in taste between fresh/UHT milk. The major advantage would be in the much longer "Best Before Date".

In any case, it's a lot better than getting thrown a pack of milk powder, which is all you get on some European full-service carriers!

Wasn't quite sure whether to stick it there or AirCrew Notices,
however, I was here at the time so I posted here.
I won't be offended if its moved.
