787 scrapped after towing accident

https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/312168

I am no judge of how expensive it is to repair an airliner, but is seems disproportionate to me that an accident involving a plane less than 10 years old and a tug should lead to a write-off. Would a metal airliner also have been scrapped for this much damage?

Already being discussed here: PPRuNe: 3rd 787 in pax use scrapped

The jury still seems to be out on whether it's being repaired or scrapped.
