Who was attacking Kington today?

The poor, defenceless, Herefordshire town of Kington was repeatedly "attacked" by fast jets today. The NOTAM simply says "AIR EXER. MULTIPLE FAST JET ACFT WILL CONDUCT HIGH ENERGY MANOEUVRES". They looked like F15s to me (but I am not a spotter, and F15s seem unlikely) and SWMBO is asking what they were - does anyone here know what they were?

Well there are F-15's of the 48th TFW based at RAF Lakenheath and they often do low-level flying in the Mach Loop, so Herefordshire is in the general area. As to why there, who knows. Is there still the land used by the German Army in the past, if so perhaps there ?
