Italian Air Force over East Anglia.

Tracked an Italian Air Force B762 flying roughly SSE over East Anglia today at about 1245 BST.Its the 2nd time I've seen an Italian A F Boeing over our patch recently.Usually only see RAF and USAF Tankers, have NATO been playing locally ??

Can't speak for that one, but another ItAF KC-767 was over East Anglia at around the same time heading in the opposite direction (NNW) on a day trip to/from Keflavik. Routed close to Heathrow just after 7pm on the way back.

It's Italy's turn to police the skies around Iceland for NATO, 2 x C-130s and 2 x KC767s have been up to Kevlavik on Monday & Tuesday and yesterday's 767 had 4 x F-35s with it.

I noticed an Italian AF KC767 heading east between Woodley and Dover a few weeks ago and wondered if it had any playmates with it - popped outside for a sqizz - sadly, nah!
