Saicus Air MD-87 EC-KRV, At MAD

I posted this in the Spanish forum but have had no luck and not many views.
I'm trying to find out what happned/ is happening with the MD-87 that's been parked on the apron at Madrid for ten years.

Last word was it was going to auction if not claimed but that was back in Jan 2019. Does any one have any info please.

No idea, but probably the same fate as the LGW MD-whatever that has been slowly decaying for many years. Perhaps as Barajas has plenty of room and a friendly climate it might just hang around for some more time.

Probably get scrapped in the end same as A300s at Valencia, a 742F is hanging on to life there for unknow reasons. Madrid is littered with ageing carcases.
