Do pilots need the rest of the airline?

It's been voiced that Pilots need no other staff in the airline, that everything, and we mean everything but them can be contracted out.

Personally I think this is twaddle, but let's take a poll to see what the PPruning Public thinks

Just re-read your post. If you are contracting out then why not contract out pilots as well ?

I would think pilots would be the first thing worth contracting out
being one of the bigger overheads.

Pilots cannot do it on their own - if you contract out everything no-one gives a stuff!!!!

If you contract out everything, including the contract out, then you will be in a position of taking working capital and giving it to someone to run an airline to make you profits. Sounds like shareholding.

You mean to tell me that there is other staff at the airline...

By George, you're right! Funny, never noticed before... TC

I am closing this. It is not a serious subject and not capable of being made serious so why waste bandwith.
