A couple of AN-12s have rattled past here in the last 36 hours, long may they continue. Mind you the Spitfires getting airborne from Biggin sound even better!

Motor Sich is an engineering company and when I flew with them, of a morning, the aircraft was brought across the airfield from their maintenance base, so I would imagine their aircraft receive more maintenance than some may believe.
Interesting though that when I flew with them our early morning scheduled flight was delayed by some 4 hours out of OZH due to fog in KBP and that day the AN24 and crew were operating OZH/KBP/ESB/KBP/OZH so their crew flight time regulations that they operate to must be interesting!
Just check the number of IL-76's on the ground in OZH, when ' Auf Wiedersehen Pet' needed one OZH is where they sourced one from.
