I imagine his immediate family are in a difficult position now. They might have patted him on the head with a, "Yes Jason, we'll support your dream." at the start in the hope that he would see sense and drop it. His family are going to clear up the fallout when/if he realises that the game is up and has a total mental breakdown.

He has lost his wife (and children?), the only thing that he can cling on to is his fading dream. When he wakes up, it's going to be messy.

I did suggest he might be a bit busy with all this Airline CEO stuff he has on his plate right now!

Hahaha, that's very funny stuff indeed!

On the Jet Airways fleet situation - from what I can glean from sources around the interweb, it appears that what's left of Jet Airways is now down to about 14 planes, at least one of which is impounded in Amsterdam. 3 of them are MAX's so won't be doing any flying soon anyway.

On the Atmosphere situation, the sudden period of radio silence on all social platforms (twitter/facebook/linkedin) is very much out of kilter with recent trend. Of course, all "CEO" types are entitled to a week's summer holiday.

yessss ..... except our hero is always Tweeting about the rediculous cost of orange juice (or whatever it was) at Dubai airport, or why he has had a run-in with the Visa people at Hyderabad, or what BOJO is doing to help with stray dogs in Transylvania, how he's just stumbled upon this new unbeatable Airline investment opportunity in Tashkent or what the hotel pool is like in Ho Chi Minh.

I think sixchannel may have it in his most recent Post #762!

Much more arcane than that. The BW and possibly Mrs BW (GW?) were denied boarding passes in BKK for a flight to CCU, since he had failed to do his research and get visas. India is NOT a 'visa on arrival' sort of gig, especially for Brits.

In airline terms, this makes him a no-show, since he failed to present for his flight with all required documents. It's all the T&Cs which he agreed when he made the booking....

As such, he may get his taxes and charges back but no more, which is the source of his angst. He doesn't seem to understand much about airline commercials for a CEO...

What exactly does our BW do for a living? How is he getting money to do these international flights? Why was he going to India in the first place? Surely not to do a deal with Jet!!
