Untrained horse seen over the Midlands!

At around 14:45 today I heard a fast approaching turboprop. I looked up and saw a two engined plane approaching, as it went over, heading for Sutton Coldfield, I saw it was an OV-10 Bronco, probably the last thing I expected to see!

Probably the same Bronco that was displayed at Duxford a couple of weeks ago. My surprise this morning was a couple of Stealth Bombers descending over the North East Norfolk Coast inbound, I would guess from their direction of flight, to Lakenheath.

The B-2s had been using the bombing range at Holbeach on their way from the USA to Fairford.

Be really nice if the B-2s were still at Fairford July 15/16. Fingers crossed!

They might well be as they have to be repainted after every flight. This was why we never had one on the ground at Farnborough; there wasn't a hangar big enough to become a paint shop!
