Cardiff & Bristol. Champions League layover this week.....

UEFA Champions League has been over a year in the planning.
Just curious as to what aircraft charters we can expect, particularly at Cardiff?

These two airports are going to reach saturation this Friday Sunday.

Here is info about Bristol, which looks like the Spanish are here, so the Italians will be in Cardiff. Bristol & Wessex car park will have restricted parking

I have just seen these figures...Cardiff 12,500 pax 84 flights, Bristol 7,000 pax 60 flights and Birmingham 5,000 pax 34 flights. The only breakdown I can find is Juventus fans will predominantly use Cardiff and Real Madrid predominantly Birmingham and Bristol

Surely Ronaldo won't go to Bristol; that will mean surface transport to Cardiff and he's much to important (in his opinion) for that!

I'm sure that both teams will land at Cardiff before any charters for the fans arrive.

What was going on at Cardiff very early this morning with several inbound flights holding over the Bristol Channel, and departures mostly delayed by hours?

I believe an Iberia aircraft had a tech issue on the taxi way and was stuck for a while which caused the back log.
