Impressive wake effect on cloud

Saw an interesting disturbance in the cloud base yesterday afternoon while walking up Ealing Road in West London. Running northwest in the cloud base was series of widening ridges at right-angles to the track, looking for all the world like somebody crossing a line of text out with vertical scribbles. It continued ruler-straight for several miles, never did see the aircraft.

The culprit appears to have been a Kuwait Airways 777 which had left the Lambourne hold and did a spacing dog-leg SW towards the river before turning NW over Shepherds Bush to join the downwind leg for 09L at Heathrow. It was at a little over 7000'.

Amazing effect; if the chemtrail adherents had seen it they'd be emptying the shops of baco-foil...
