Strange light under Typhoon
I was photographing the Typhoon display at the recent Bournemouth Air Festival. When I downloaded my images, I was puzzled to find one which showed the Typhoon apparently emitting a bright white light from the underside of the fuselage. Now, I was shooting at 6.5 frames per second, and none of the frames before or after this frame showed the light, so presumably it was a momentary flash. However, I can't figure what it could have been. Any thoughts at all?
May be that a nosewheel door has just `cracked open under `g`,and that may have triggered the nose landing light to illuminate.....not something that should happen.....
It is the under fuselage strobe. See following image links of Typhoons.
