Yellow Specs.
Bowling along from PMI to SOU yesterday in an EVELOP/ORBEST A320,I espied on the Starboard wing,outboard of the engine pylon an object,painted yellow and resembling a pair of Spectacles or a truncated figure 8 on its side and in line with the airflow.Can anyone enlighten me ,please? Thanks.

The hard point hoist position should the aircraft need to be lifted following a wheel collapse ?

Close. They are for attaching guide ropes running from the overwing exits to aid emergency evacuation.
