Virgin's new B787-9

Watching the arrival of one of Virgin's new batch of 787-9 today, G-VOWS, I was struck by the engine cowling colours. Instead of the usual all over Virgin red, this aircraft has them red on the front half and white on the after part.
Any clues, anybody? Is this a hint of a new colour scheme, shortage of red paint or what?

It was test-flown in Virgin colours with all-white cowls, maybe they are being painted in stages.
