PLOGS

When my ex worked for FR Aviation at BOH during a short-lived experiment in Executive Charters, as Cabin Crew on Dassault FALCON 20's, she often mentioned PLOGS
Please can someone explain this term? Many thanks.

...and they are virtually worthless on short European flights. A few directs (or a constant series headings in the UK) means that you are left with a best guess plan, pointlessly worked out to the nearest kilo. Measured with a micrometer; marked with chalk; chopped with an axe.
