Flightaware Maps

I was watching one of the Dreamlifters flying into Paine Field (KPAE) the other day and I brought its track up on Flightaware. The actual flight track seems to coincide with my observations. But the dotted line, which I assume is the planned course seems a little odd.

Here is the map for that flight:
Atlas Air (5Y) #4341 ? 20-Feb-2015 ? KCHS - KPAE ? FlightAware

Looking at the last 50 km approaching KPAE, the 'planned path' doesn't look right, with that funny jog in the line. The waypoints look OK, but it appears that (at least) one was entered out of sequence. Where does Flightaware get this data? Is this sort of thing an error o their part? Or does it actually represent a flight plan getting fat fingered into some FA system?
