Mildenhall closing
For those who might have spent a happy weekend or two over the years at an airshow or other at RAF Mildenhall, the sad news is that it will close in the near future amongst other assets of the USAF in Europe U.S. Air Force's European consolidation results announced
It surprises me that such a busy and big base would be deemed surplus, whilst Lakenheath will remain, but I suppose hardened shelters are expensive to build these days.
