I have track ir on my headset, so where my head goes it follows it in the virtual cockpit.

Its a hard maneuver! So how did you work out the 150 kts 2.5nm a minute? Also the turn radius?

Thanks

60kts=60nm/hour=1nm/minute

'Radius of turn' at Chambery is taken care of by flying that procedure (corrected for wind) for the (adjusted) times on the chart. The procedure is known a 'circling with prescribed tracks' in English and MUST be flown 'visually'. Often there are no such tracks/distances laid down so you do your own thing.

Right i see so, 150 kts would be 60kts x 2 = 120kts ( 2NM ) and you have 30 kts left so half of a NM ( 0.5NM ) and you Add that to the 2 = 2.25 NM

My maths ain't the best so is that correct...

Off topic but saves starting a new topic!

After getting my route validated with CFMU i get a ATC rest of FL250 but my cruise alt is FL390. So do i enter FL250 into the FMC first (initial cruise alt) or my final cruise alt of FL390?

Also what about my press controller FL250 or FL390?

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

I would set FL390 as planned, if ATC gave me an inital climb to FL250 then that's fine, they will probably give higher later. If they specifically say "Due xxx max level for cruise today will be FL250" or similar then I would reset FMC and press. to FL250.

EGPF to LFLB i had my first ALT rest. FL230 and my final ALT390

LFLB weather was below minima but i could still dispatch my flight according to JAR OPS 1 or EU OPS

2 alternates and above planning minima !

So i'll enter FL390 in my FMC and the rest i'll deal with the MCP ALT window

Job done thankyou for the response, time, that you have given!
