AC861 Divert

Today AC-861 was coming into land at Halifax and then diverted off to Montreal. Any one got any news as to why.

Most likely high winds - gusting up to 40kts across the main runway this afternoon.

Cross Wind

I find it strange that the plane aborted a landing due to cross wins and then divert. Halifax has two runways at about 90 degrees to one another.

The other strange thing, the plane diverted on its way from Halifax to London, according to Flightradar24.

Sounds more like it had a fault all engineers hate, now you see it now you don't.
