Heard all the triple 7 guys are delighted that the A340s won't be coming and have asked to do the ultra-long haul stuff. All A330 pilots to be retrenched to the beaches and golf clubs and to be given a 25% payrise as a sweetener for their trouble and loss of flight duty pay.
An unnamed Australian Triple 7 pilot said 'Jeez mate it'll be great; whilst those 330 mates are sweltering in the sun, we'll be trying to get to sleep in the bunk over the North Pole. Even better, its gonna be a minimum rest flight to LA so we'll be able to commute from Oz'
An unnamed ozzie 330 pilot said 'Mate, I think its disgusting those Triple 7 mates stealing our flying time. I haven't been in the bunk since I was a second officer with Cathay.'
An unnamed Brit 330 pilot couldn't be reached for comment coz he'd drunk too much and fallen asleep in his hammock.
