Quick Question - Mach Loop Spotting
I'm off to Cad West for the first time over the next week or so and need to ask a daft question. Is there any flying through the loop outside of the published LFA7 timetable 1 hour slots?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Of course there is. Don't pay attention to the LFA 7 (T) timetable as it doesn't cover the Mach Loop.

If you’ve found the timetable for tactical areas such as LFA 7(T) on the MOD / RAF website you should know that this isn’t a timetable for the whole area. It’s a small tactical area within the LFA where operational flying (down to 100ft) is allowed.

Thanks for the links TEEEJ. I spent 3 hours up there on Friday and saw 2 Hawks and a Typhoon (which made 2 passes).
It's quite a climb isn't it and I'll be packing some water and sunblock next time! Got a couple of decent pics of the Typhoon and can't wait to go back again later in the year...
