Stansted Malaga diversion
Just had a pax report that a Stansted Malaga flight diverted to Lisbon this morning with the captain feeling unwell. Not a decision made lightly.

Easyjet U23111 / EZY41WP STN-AGP diverted 0845 UTC when south east of Valladolid rerouted Lisbon. Was on the ground for about 30 minutes then resumed flight to AGP.
Maybe EZY had a spare crew / captain available?
Madrid Barajas would have been closer but possibly no spare crew?
Track can be followed on playback on flightradar24 at 0840UTC.

Thanks for the info. Understand that availability of a replacement captain was the decisive factor. One report said that the captain was 'seriously ill' and the passengers were reassured that' this didn't happen very often'. I hope he/she is OK.
