Crosswind? Blocked runway? Broken light fitting on runway? Burst tyres? The reasons could be many and go-arounds happen all day.

No. No x wind, no RWY blocked, slight wind change, I can bet poor radar vectors, I always suffer on GRU!

I was one that had to wait one hour due to five missed app on Sunday at Guraulhos tarmac.

Any cues?

Sao Paulo & Rio had mostly of the times, extremely unstabilized vectors.!!!

Lots of go a rounds today at LHR. Sat here in my office under the go around route, just saying to my mate that the emirates A380 should be fine, 'cos it's too heavy to be effected by the wind (tongue-in-cheek), and guess what, it went around !

Looks like he's heading for Amsterdam, to use a north / south runway instead
