AN12/C-130 into Heathrow 22/12?

While out for my Sunday afternoon stroll yesterday at about 1545, I saw what appeared from a distance to be either a AN-12 or C-130 apparently leaving the Biggin hold, fly westwards towards Epsom briefly before turning northeastwards as though following the normal route in to Heathrow, as it disappeared behind trees.

Nothing visible on FR24, any ideas?

Made a change from Airbuses and Boeings!

Air Algerie if, like mine, your Arabic isn't up to it.

Thanks Dave

I think I did notice an Algerian registration on FR24 and assumed it was the usual 737!

Over the years I have occasionally spotted 130s heading to Heathrow. I'm on the normal approach flightpath east of LHR where planes tend to be 4-5,000 ft, so good for reliable sightings. I was surprised first time I saw one, but I think it might have been at a week end and doing relief flights to a disaster area.
