A bit of thread drift....
A spy told me that yesterday evening (daylight) an A380 in BA colours seemed to be flying very low past Rotherhithe, which lead me to wonder if they did a PR flyby at LCY or even in fact the City of London ? It might have just been a normal approach to LHR and it's just so large that it seemed lower It would fit the arrival time of the FRA flight that the BA machine is doing at the moment.
